Customer Lead Coordinator

Demand is growing for Wesgroup Equipment products and services. To maximize our demand acquisition, we are looking for a Customer Lead Coordinator to join our team and help drive demand and the sales pipeline through inbound qualification and targeted outbound prospecting. This role is focused on providing an exceptional customer sales experience through initial prospect contact, and managing leads created through marketing efforts from a variety of channels. You will be responsible for building initial relationships with potential clients, gathering information, qualifying leads and facilitating a hand off to the Sales Team. Success in this position will be measured through quality and quantity of leads transferred as well as billed sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pursuing leads generated through marketing efforts including inbound calls, web and other qualified marketing leads;
  • Qualifying Leads and passing them to our Sales Team for opportunity creation;
  • Understanding prospects' needs and identifying sales opportunities;
  • Achieve and maintain good product/technical knowledge of our brands and competing products;
  • Be able to understand prospective client needs and what may help them improve their business;
  • Answering potential customers' questions and facilitating transfer to other departments as required;
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers using our CRM system;
  • Creating and updating lead measurement reports through CRM;
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of  our products and services on video conference and at live events;
  • Work with the Marketing & Communications Manager to identify marketing campaigns and create collateral to generate demand;
  • Work with the wider Sales and Marketing team to contribute to Company growth as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Previous experience in call center, customer service or inside sales position preferred;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask;
  • Excellent phone and cold calling skills;
  • Exceptional customer service skills;
  • Strong listening and influence skills;
