Corporate Parts Manager

We have an exciting new opportunity available for a Corporate Parts Manager to join our team. The Corporate Parts Manager will work closely with all Operation Managers by overseeing and procuring inventory company-wide, managing and streamlining processes, strengthening relationships with OEMs, developing our parts strategy and improving customer experience.  If you are an experienced Parts Manager, with a proven record of process improvement and are passionate about customer satisfaction, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work in close collaboration with the Operation Managers to develop, implement, and maintain the Purchasing and Inventory strategic plan across all branches;
  • Review, improve and own the stock order process;
  • Identify organizational requirements and departmental growth potential;
  • Drive results through historical data collection and market trend analytics;
  • Identify new ways to increase overall parts gross margins;
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with OEMs and Non OEM suppliers improving pricing on consumables;
  • Develops and maintains strong internal and external business relationships across all levels;
  • Research new sources of revenue generation to grow parts business company-wide;
  • Aid branches, as requested, to improve customer experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Project Management and Process Improvement
  • Proven negotiation and purchasing experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Excel and Word

Experience and Education: 

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in management (preference towards parts supply chain and logistics experience)
  • Journeyman Person Parts Certification with relevant practical experience will be considered and asset
