Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications, the Brand & Events Marketing Specialist contributes to marketing efforts for the Wesgroup Equipment family of brands. This includes taking a leading role in email marketing, digital content, SEO, SEM and printing materials. This role also executes events, merchandise, and website product inventory. We are looking for an organized team player who enjoys contributing to marketing strategy while collaborating on projects to build brands, drive sales and enhance customer experience.

Working Conditions: The Brand & Events Marketing Coordinator is based out of the Surrey office and works 40 hours on average per week, Monday to Friday. Some travel and weekend work may be required.
Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications, the Brand & Events Marketing Specialist contributes to marketing efforts for the Wesgroup Equipment family of brands. This includes taking a leading role in email marketing, digital content, SEO, SEM and printing materials. This role also executes events, merchandise, and website product inventory. We are looking for an organized team player who enjoys contributing to marketing strategy while collaborating on projects to build brands, drive sales and enhance customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute campaigns, promotions and other marketing across all relevant channels.
- Manage website equipment inventory & listings
- Manage Social media plan and calendar
- Event planning and execution across digital, in-house, trade shows, and other events
- Coordinate internal marketing requests and ensure timely action
- Submission of all COOP program reimbursements
- Completion of Marketing expenses monthly
- Lead merchandise program and suppliers for employee and customer merchandise
- Contribute to overall marketing strategy and execution.
- Work with the marketing & communications team to ensure consistency of brand across platforms
- Other projects and tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of marketing strategy and best practices
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Strong understanding of SEO & SEM best practices
- Proficient in the use of Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Organized with a strong attention to detail
- Strong writing, presentation, and analytical skills
- Adaptable and proactive with an ability to manage priorities
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Understanding of Website CMS tools and basic HTML
- Experience with marketing segmentation and communication tools
- Willingness to travel with a valid Class 5 driver’s license
Training, Education and Experience:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
