Reporting to the Inventory Analyst, the Inventory Administrator will have full knowledge of our inventory processes and range of equipment offerings. The administrator will support and work closely with the Inventory Analyst to fulfill all order requirements with accuracy, provide visibility regarding equipment on hand and on order, as well as ensure data integrity of our systems.

Working Conditions: The Inventory Administrator is based out of the Surrey or Abbotsford office and works 40 hours on average per week Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Inventory Analyst, the Inventory Administrator will have full knowledge of our inventory processes and range of equipment offerings. The administrator will support and work closely with the Inventory Analyst to fulfill all order requirements with accuracy, provide visibility regarding equipment on hand and on order, as well as ensure data integrity of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular review and assisting with data clean up.
- Submit orders to manufacturers and vendors through various online platforms.
- Submit change order requests to manufacturers and vendors.
- Ensure order confirmations are reviewed and approved.
- Provide visibility regarding equipment on hand and on order.
- Coordinate the transfer of equipment with other dealers.
- Stay current on manufacturer sales programs and order discounts.
- Resolve freight damage claims.
- Participate in periodic and annual inventory counts.
- Maintain the documentation of inventory processes.
- Support inventory management initiatives.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience working with CRM and ERP systems is an asset.
- Familiar with computers and MS Office applications (Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to details, ensuring high accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with confidence in making calls and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
- Ability to manage stress, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Ability to travel between locations, if necessary, including reviewing inventory in the warehouse and/or yard.
Training, Education and Experience:
- A minimum of one year of experience in an administrative, inventory, or related role is preferred.
- Construction or Material Handling equipment industry experience would be an asset.
- Post Secondary Education is considered an asset.
- High school diploma.
